For hire and hiring: CHRISTMAS UYAB

Oh diba, basic lang ang title? HAHA. But before I get misinterpreted, this ain’t serious, it’s JUST FOR FUN.  πŸ™‚

Remember that cute Nestea commercial which became a hit last year due to the acronym SMP the brand popularized? SMP or Samahan ng mga Malalamig ang Pasko. Sumikat yun kasi daming naka relate! HAHA For all its sake, I’ve been a member of the SMP since time immemorial, and I think it’s high time for me to exempt myself this year from this well-established group. LOL Walang plastikan, alam kong sawang-sawa na rin kayo maging single! πŸ˜›

Soooo.. I’m gonna make this year MORE exciting and MORE interesting and with a twist.. a little DIFFERENT.

This year, I am posting a job vacancy announcement for a Christmas “uyab”. Uyab is the Cebuano term for nobyo/nobya or partner.

I made this using Picnik.com, a free online photo editing service. Thanks to my friend Angela for sharing this site. πŸ™‚

Lemme first define the phrase to make it clear:

Christmas uyab is someone who will serve as your boyfriend/girlfriend for the entire duration of the Christmas season and ends thereafter. (Patrik Laroya, 2011.) LOL. πŸ™‚

Finally, I’m back from blogging hiatus!

I’ve been in the blogging world for quite some time now, I can still remember those good old days when I was really active in various blogging activities here in Davao.

Digital Filipino Event 2009 at the Grand Regal Hotel, Lanang, Davao City (Yes, I was kinda thin back then)

I stopped being active for a while back in second year when my acads (let’s call it Financial Accounting 1 with a major major 6 units!)  are rightfully demanding much of my time and attention, especially when my grades that time weren’t even at par with the grades of the laziest students in our class. Now that I have finally survived the “tanggalan” and managed to reach fourth year in my Accountancy course, I’m a bit more confident to become active in blogging again. Sayy whhuutt? πŸ˜‰

But finally, today, I’m officially announcing.. I AM SOOO BACCKKK! πŸ˜†

PROOF?

Well, if you guys know me quite well, I own three mainstream blogs and four dummy blogs. I have BLUEPAD.ORG, the blog I created for AdDU students (Gossip Girl-inspired), BUNSOIMAGAZINE.COM, my pathetic online money making machine (please do me a favor and don’t hit the link, I said it’s pathetic. It’s only for money making purposes haha!) and of course this latest baby of mine, JANPATRIK.COM.

SO, WHAT’S UP?

Hello world!

Aaaaannnd yes, it’s finally here! The long wait is over:

JANPATRIK.COM

STATUS: PUBLISHED!

Hello there! Can I crack the egg? πŸ™‚

Just so you know, I am Jan – Patrik Birondo Laroya, 21, Philippines! HAHA!

Β So, what will you expect to see here? Well, pretty much a lot of things, things about me of course! haha. So if you hate me or you don’t feel like me, but you happen to stumble upon this post, better leave this site now and block it in your browsers as you will just be bombarded with everything about me as you go below this paragraph. You’ve been warned, huh?Β

I first announced that I am going to finally have a personal blog during the wee hours of the morning last August 24, my 21st birthday.

A friend asked me:

“Pat, kadami mo ng blogs. Do you think you can manage them?”.

Then, I realized.. Oo nga naman. This is actually my third domain name. For your information, I am the proud owner of Blue PADΒ – Portal for Ateneans of Davao, the blog I created for the Ateneo studentry (unofficial) which I have to admit, is slightly patterned after US hit series Gossip Girl.

I also own Bunsoi MagazineThe Philippines’ Ultimate Online Teen Magazine. Yabang ng tag line ko noh? HAHA. Well, it used to be two years ago when I was THAT active in blogging. Bunsoi Magazine is actually my very first serious blog (by that I mean, I used to own several blogs when I was in highschool but I was never serious about updating them). It is my pathetic online money making machine which brings me Google Adsense dollars at the end of the month whenever they become due. I know that blog is pathetic, but that stupid and nonsense blog is the one responsible for my new clothes every wash dayΒ every OTHER wash day in school. *baka ma issue* HAHA. ‘Nuff said.

Anyway, this blog will serve as my online persona in addition to my social networking site accounts. Continue Reading
