If you have noticed, the last article I wrote was Georgina Wilson: Will you be my girlfriend? which was posted last May 27, 2012. I have been very busy preparing for my board exam last October so I never had the chance to update this blog. But now that I have plenty of time under my sleeves, I just can’t wait to start doing again what I’ve always loved doing.. BLOGGING! 🙂

NEW LOGO
How do you like my new logo? I’m very proud of this logo since I also contributed my own effort for its completion. Since I’m a noob in graphics and photo editing, I owe all the text and graphics in the left side of the banner to PICMonkey.com, the best online photo editor ever!
I would like to give credit also to my good friend and colleague from AdDU’s school paper, Atenews’ graphic artist kuya Ogs Ablazo for editing the picture on the left side many times according to how I wanted it to appear. Salamat kuya Ogs! Thanks also to my friend Jam Martinez for taking the original picture! 🙂

ALMOST LOST JANPATRIK.COM
I bought the domain name JANPATRIK.COM from Namecheap, an ICANN-registered domain registrar and web hosting company, last August 2011 for a one-year term renewable. Come August 2012 (as I’ve said, I’ve been very busy with my review schedule), I forgot to renew that domain name. To make it even worse, that only occurred to me middle of October. So when I was about to renew JANPATRIK.COM, it’s too late as it’s way past the deadline and the domain name is currently in Redemption Period.
I tried my very best in reacquiring JANPATRIK.COM since it’s the name readers have always associated with me, but to no avail. I tried negotiating with my registrar via email but since it’s already in Redemption Period, Namecheap is requiring me to pay 210.87USD for the renewal process which includes other late charges, WHICH IS WAYYYY HIGHER THAN THE USUAL 9.99USD renewal fee had I renewed the blog ON TIME. Obviously, I don’t have enough resources to spend more than Php 10,000 pesos just for a single domain name. THE VERY REASON WHY I BOUGHT JANPATRIK.NET as a backup plan.
Fast forward two weeks and I got notice from my Registrar that JANPATRIK.COM is again open for purchase, and without a single thought, purchased it again at the regular 9.99USD price. So that explains why I have both JANPATRIK.COM AND JANPATRIK.NET
WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON JANPATRIK.NET
I’m still thinking about that though. Perhaps, I’ll be making it as my porn site. LOL
So anyway, I’m just soooo happy to be back in the blogosphere! Hopefully, my presence will be felt back again by my friends, readers and followers in the blogosphere!
